Line Cook

The Reef Beach Resort, East End, is searching of an experienced Pasty Cook to join our team. The Line Cook is responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes in a fast‑paced kitchen environment. Food Preparation & Cooking

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
• Set up and stock the station with all necessary supplies before service
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards
• Follow proper portioning and plating guidelines
• Work efficiently during busy service periods
• Coordinate with other cooks and chefs to ensure smooth ticket flow
• Adjust dishes based on special requests or dietary needs when directed by the chef
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation
• Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients (FIFO)
• Assist with prep work for future shifts

Qualifications

• 3- 4 years previous line cook, or kitchen experience preferred
• Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
