Food & Beverage Server

We are looking for a professional, high-energy F&B Server with excellent communication skills to serve our guests. The Server will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food. You will also upsell items, assist customers with their reservation needs. Program POS System (Aloha) with menu items and pricing. Ensure dining area is always organized according to the restaurant standards including music, lighting, decoration, and hygiene protocols. F&B Server Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine food and beverage preferences, making menu recommendations, and taking drink orders.
• Making menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information with restaurant patrons. Create and curate full cocktail menus along with teaching and prepping other server/bartenders.
• Understanding the distilling and fermentation process on a deep level and educating and involving guests in the process.
• Creating the tinctures and homemade syrups for the menu, also creating special and seasonal cocktails / menus.
• Applying a zero-waste program and finding ways to re-use as much as we can of a product in an efficient and ecofriendly way.
• Checking identification to ensure customers are of the legal age to purchase alcohol.
• Assisting fellow servers as situations arise
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
• Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
• Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.

F&B Server Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required. Must have sommelier certificate
• Availability to work special events, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, together with basic math and computer skills, strong task and time management abilities.
• Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.
• Understanding the distilling and fermentation process on a deep level and educating and involving guests in the process

Minimum 5 years’ experience required having worked previously in an award-winning restaurant/bar. Salary: Minimum $6.56 per hour + Grats and side tips
