BLINDS & WINDOW COVERINGS INSTALLER

We are seeking a Window Treatment Installer to join our Window Coverings department. The working environment is active and fast-paced and we are recruiting as a means to meet our increasing demand. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

High School Diploma Have at least ten (10) years working experience in a professional environment

• Highly varied, demonstrable experience as a Window Treatment Installer
• Familiarity with pertinent building guidelines
• Well-honed worksite preparation abilities
• Refined, thoughtful customer service skills
• Capacity to lift large, bulky materials
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate the ability to remain composed

while working under pressure and within strict deadlines

• Be honest, courteous, responsible and have the ability to perform on own initiative

and without supervision

• Be willing to work overtime and on holidays, as necessary
• Possess a valid and clean Cayman Islands driver’s license

RESPONSIBILITIES

Discerning suitable window coverings, fixings, and accessories for respective projects

• Measuring pertinent features of every installation area
• Removing clients' existing window coverings before conducting new installations
• Treating surrounding surfaces to ensure their appropriateness for installation
• Fitting blinds, drapery, traditional and motorized components, shutters, and similar coverings
• Replacing components of clients' window coverings, if required
• Informing clients of upkeep-related procedures
• Perform site visits to clients for the purpose of consulting and measuring
• Assist with checking-off freight and maintaining inventory records and inventory

upkeep

• Assist with any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
