Job Description

Campbell’s Welding & Construction Services Ltd. – is a small - medium Welding & Construction company. Majority of our services focus on Welding which include but are not limited to Repairs, Metal Fabrication, Structural Erection, Installation, Mobile/Site Welding and General Welding. Job Description: Cashier/Front Desk Attendant- Serves as the Central Point of Contact and Key Support to Management, Projects, And Production. Playing A Vital Role in Keeping Administrative, Sales, And Daily Operational Processes Running Smoothly Through Proactive Organization and Professional Communication with clients such as Engineers, Architects, Contractors & Industrial Personnels. Work Location & Environment: This role is primarily office‑based, but the facility’s operations may occasionally expose you to typical industrial or manufacturing conditions, including: Heat, Loud Noise, and Fumes from welding, gas systems, and paint-related activities, including odours, vapours, and bright welding light. Dust and metal particles from cutting, grinding, fabrication, and other metalworking processes. Nearby use of heavy equipment, machinery, and tools, as well as the need to navigate active work areas. Work Schedule: Mondays – Fridays [8am-5pm] Saturdays [8am-1pm] Sundays & Public Holidays – [No Work] -Total of 45 hours per week

Duties & Responsibilities Include but not limited to

  • Assist customer with inquiries - provide information and prices on Metal Products such as Pipes, Tubing, Angles, Channels, Beams etc. and Welding and Construction Services, through walk ins, emails, and phone calls.
  • Apply fundamental math and measurement skills— read & understand metric systems such as decimals, fractions, gauges, and contractor’s measuring tape.
  • Interpret metal product specifications, including material types, grades, tolerances, and dimensional requirements.
  • Gather project details—such as Architectural Drawings, measurements and metal types (e.g., Aluminum, Steel, Galvanized, Stainless Steel and other related products—to assist customers and management with fabrications such as gates, railings, stairs, metal cutting, and other custom metal works.
  • Conduct online research and industry resources to support projects and company initiatives such as Building and Welding Materials.
  • Operate System with QuickBooks Premier Plus Contractors Edition for daily operations.
  • Prepare estimates, quotations, and invoices
  • Confirm customer orders and maintain consistent communication regarding project updates, timelines, and changes in job status.
  • Update and manage Work Order and Project Lists.
  • Generate work orders for productions and monitor progress.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including generating financial and production reports, monitoring cash flow, and tracking contract costs.
  • Record daily expenses, organize receipts, and maintain accurate financial documentation.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials from international suppliers, negotiate with vendors. Handle shipping logistics, customs entries, and port clearances.
  • May occasionally be required to run errands to support daily operations, including dropping off or collecting documents or checks, purchasing supplies from local vendors, and visiting customs or port offices to assist with shipment clearances.
  • Posting & paying bills. Receive & balance payments.
  • Assist with payroll processing and Provide administrative support to employees.
  • Update and maintain the company website.
  • Oversee inventory and restocking of office and workshop supplies.
  • Perform daily clerical duties: copying, scanning, emailing, printing, filing, and organizing files.Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment.

Skills & Requirements

  • Demonstrate computation skills with the ability to read measurements, including decimals, fractions, and gauges, while accurately interpreting metal product specifications such as types, grades, and dimensions.
  • Read and interpret contractor’s measuring tape.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with walk in clients, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Able to multitask effectively in an industrial setting, balancing administrative duties, customer inquiries, and project support.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation, estimates, invoices, and inventory records.
  • Comfortable working in an industrial environment, including interacting with workshop staff and understand fabrication processes.
  • Highly organized in managing tasks, schedules, and documentation to support smooth daily operations.
  • Demonstrates strong initiative—able to identify what needs to be done and act without constant supervision.
  • Reliable for long term employment, committed to consistency and professional growth within the company.
  • Takes pride in their work, maintaining professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude in all responsibilities.

Salary and Benefits

  • $8.75 KYD / HR - Starting Pay Rate / Health Insurance & Pension / Weekly Salary After Deductions $355.00KYD / Annual Paid Vacation Leave [Upon Eligibility]
