Line Cook

Mykonos is accepting applications from suitably qualified applicants to the above listed position: Line Cook Key Responsibilities

• Manage a designated station in the kitchen and ensure a smooth workflow in compliance with quality, hygiene, and safety standards
• Prepare, cook, and present dishes with impeccable quality and attractive presentation in line with our high standards
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies for daily service
• Plan production to meet daily operational requirements efficiently
• Minimize food waste and ensure food losses are kept to a minimum
• Promote efficient stock control and place orders as required for daily production
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times
• Provide guidance, support, and training to junior kitchen team members
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and consistent service
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds
• Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role preferred
• Passion for food, quality, and presentation
• Strong organizational skills and excellent time management
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Team-oriented with a positive, flexible attitude
