Bartender

Cask Whisky is the Cayman Island’s first specialist whisky bar and tasting room. In order to conduct business, Cask needs experienced bartenders who possess expertise in whisky, cocktail crafting, and general bar operations, coupled with exceptional customer service skills. This requirement reflects Cask’s commitment to delivering a high-quality experience centered around whisky education and superior service at their newly licensed establishment. Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all beverage regulations
• Host whisky tastings and private events

Requirements and skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Specialist Whisky Knowledge
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Hosting events and tastings for large groups

To be successful as a Bartender at this niche establishment requires an individual who is appropriately educated in the drinks industry and has at least five (5) years’ experience in the hospitality sector, specifically as a bartender.
