Engineering Technician, Painter & Drywall Salary US $ 13.00 to $15.00 per hour, plus gratuities Are you ready to take your career in hotel engineering to the Grand level! We are seeking experienced hotel engineering technicians for the role/s of Painter & Drywall Technician within our engineering department. Job Summary

Painters are required to sand, prep and apply paint or stain finishes by roller or brush to various surfaces. You must be able to work to a very high standard and without supervision. Position may also be required to work at heights.

As a Painter & Drywall Technician you are responsible for

• Assisting with the operation, maintenance, service and repair of equipment as assigned.
• Participating in the preventative maintenance program, handling guest requests and other work orders as assigned.
• Performing the job in a safe and efficient manner and performing trade jobs, such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, etc.

Education & Experience

• Required to have a minimum of 5 years’ painter experience, hotel experience is very advantageous.
• Drywall repair experience is desired.
• Wall Vinyl experience is very advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Provide a clean police record.
• Able to work without supervision.
• Communicate well with others in a polite, professional and engaging manner.
• Hours of employment will vary and may include hours between 11pm and 7am, 6 days per week including holidays.
