We are currently seeking qualified candidates to be considered for the position of senior manager in our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice in the Cayman Islands. Our FAAS professionals combine technical accounting skills in IFRS and US GAAP, practical experience in financial reporting as well as deep sector and regulatory knowledge to help finance leaders address the strategic accounting challenges and ongoing changes facing their business and manage the resulting repercussions on the accounting and finance function.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in multiple engagement teams within FAAS and collaborate with the partner and client to determine a strategy that appropriately addresses risk and manages client expectations relating to deliverables
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management throughout the year and ensure that the engagement team understands the client’s needs and expectations and that the work product is client-focused, clear, accurate and well-presented
  • Understand the client’s industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends and industry developments
  • Collaborate with other service lines to identify and deliver integrated solutions
  • Oversee engagement economics and manage appropriate resources for efficient engagement models
  • Cultivate and manage business development opportunities; generate new business opportunities by understanding EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to apply knowledge and services
  • Coach and develop our people and provide timely performance reviews/feedback/on-the-job training
