Prepare monthly financial statements, working papers, and notes for comprehensive financial reporting. Complete billing processes for accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely collection. Review invoices, payment applications, and contracts to ensure compliance and consistency with company policies and agreements. Assist with inquiries from customers, vendors, and internal managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve discrepancies. Support budgeting and forecasting processes to aid in financial planning and decision-making. Assist in preparing and calculating account reconciliations, including complex lease and property-related reconciliations. Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and relevant accounting standards. Provide support and training to junior staff and trainees as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required. Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably with exposure to commercial finance. Working towards a recognized accounting designation such as CA, CPA, ACA, or ACCA. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Advanced working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis. Experience in preparing and calculating account reconciliations; experience with complex lease and property-related reconciliations is advantageous. Strong analytical skills with the ability to accurately interpret and present financial data. Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
