Client Advisory: Assess client risks and provide strategic insurance recommendations tailored to their individual and business needs.
Market Placement: Negotiate with local and international insurers to secure optimal terms and coverage.
Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate monthly bordereaux and placement reports in line with regulatory and partner requirements.
Compliance: Stay current with CIMA and industry regulations, ensuring all activity meets professional and legal standards.
Client Servicing: Produce polished proposals, renewal reports, and comparison documents, presenting confidently to clients.
Premium & Policy Administration: Manage invoicing, collections, renewals, and endorsements accurately and efficiently.
Claims Advocacy: Support clients through the entire claims process, ensuring timely and fair settlements.
Business Development: Drive new business growth and client retention through proactive relationship management and cross-selling initiatives.
About You
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years' experience in insurance broking or a related field.
Recognized insurance qualifications such as ACII, CPCU, or equivalent preferred.
Strong understanding of insurance principles, underwriting, and claims processes.
Experience of working in the Lloyd’s and London insurance market.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in insurance software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing the insurance industry in the Cayman Islands.
