SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Meraki Wellness Ltd, a luxury wellness and hospitality business in Grand Cayman, is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to take ownership of key accounting, reporting and financial control functions within its multi-revenue-stream operation. Key responsibilities include: monthly management accounts and month-end close; balance sheet, bank and merchant reconciliations; revenue and deferred revenue accounting; inventory, stock reconciliations and cost of sales; payroll accounting; budgeting, forecasting and cash flow support; year-end reporting; and the continued development of robust financial controls and processes.

Applicants must have

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Internationally recognised professional accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA, CPA or CA.
• Minimum 4 years' relevant accounting experience, including significant responsibility for month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Demonstrable experience in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation and cost of sales.
• Relevant accounting experience within wellness, fitness, spa, hospitality, retail or a comparable multi-revenue-stream service environment.
• Strong accounting systems knowledge and experience of Xero software as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with Zenoti or a comparable spa, hospitality, membership or point-of-sale system is highly advantageous.

Salary: US$85,000-US$95,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience. 40 hrs/week Benefits: Statutory benefits in accordance with Cayman Islands law. Working Requirements: Full-time position with flexibility to work the hours required to meet month-end, year-end and other key financial reporting deadlines.
