We are looking for a very experienced Bodyshop Supervisor to manage our busy multi-franchise crash repair centre. This person will be responsible for the repairing and painting of all vehicles handled by the dealership, these include Rental, Lease, Dealership New/Used/Demo’s and Customers cars, as directed. You will be responsible for the bodyshop loading and planning, including budgets You are responsible for repairing and painting all vehicles to current manufacturer’s standards Oversee all repairs and create a clear workflow, to include the final quality control process You will follow industry standard practices for all repairs and painting and monitor KPI’s You will oversee and utilize the appropriate jig and pulling equipment for each vehicle You will be responsible for keeping all working areas clean, tidy and practice safety to avoid accidents. At times, there may be other requests from Management regarding helping on vehicle breakdowns or other assistance which you will be expected to support and help as directed. The person must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a multi-franchised Dealership with Manufacturer Paint Warranty knowledge, Accident/Smart Repair and Parts experience, the latter being critical. Because of the diversity of the job that includes handling many multi-franchise vehicles you must also have experience in at least 3 other main dealer franchises, one of which must be one of our currently held brands. You would also have had extensive manufacturer exposure to CRM programs and be fully conversant with Dealer Management systems (DMS). Leadership and training is a large part of this role so experience in panel preparation, painting and colour matching are all essential skills. Also, a working knowledge of the initial business set would be a great advantage, due to our planned expansions over the coming months. A full clean driving license is essential Trade/Industry qualifications will also be required Work environment involves moderate exposure to hazards or physical risks, which requires following basic safety requirements, including road rules and facility regulations Work is performed outside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environment Moderate exposure to unusual elements such as temperature, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises, which may vary based on location Equipment used daily includes a large variety of vehicles (may include 15-passenger vans and airport buses, based on location
