Assistant Tailor

Duties and responsibilities

• Assist the tailor in daily production tasks and ensure garments are completed on time.
• Assist in making, altering, and repairing suits, wedding gowns, evening and fancy gowns, jacket suits, and costumes.
• Assist with taking measurements, cutting fabrics, sewing, garment fitting, and alterations according to customer requirements.
• Operate industrial sewing machines and embroidery machines as required.
• Assist customers with fitting and alterations to ensure garments meet their expectations.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure, and meet deadlines.
• Must be reliable, hardworking, and willing to work overtime and weekends when required.
