This role encompasses, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities
Prepare and Serve Drinks
Accurately mix and prepare a variety of alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits, following standard recipes and customer preferences
Serve drinks to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and quality
Provide Excellent Customer Service
Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome
Engage in friendly conversation with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about the menu and drinks
Handle customer requests and complaints promptly and professionally
Manage Inventory
Monitor and control inventory levels of alcoholic beverages and supplies
Place orders for restocking as needed
Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items
Maintain a Safe and Clean Environment
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily available
Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including responsible alcohol service and food safety
Dispose of waste properly
Process payments
Accurately handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods
Ring up sales and provide receipts to customers
Follow cash handling procedures to prevent theft and loss
Additional Responsibilities
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Bartender in a similar establishment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for handling payments and calculations
Available to work flexible hours, including on Public holidays, weekends and evenings
