HOUSEKEEPER/GENERAL FARM HAND

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeper / General Farm Hand to support the daily operations of our resort on Cayman Brac. This hands-on role involves a combination of housekeeping, laundry operations, and farm-related duties. The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented, and capable of working in both indoor and outdoor environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that rooms and premises are clean and ready for occupancy according to resort standards which includes but not limited to restocking linens, make beds, dusting, clean bathrooms.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; ensure that proper safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Operate and monitor washing/drying machinery, including adding laundry chemicals.
• Perform a variety of tasks involved with watering, weeding and harvesting crops as needed.
• Safely use hand tools and equipment for carrying out farm related duties.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and make order suggestions to management; advise of any repairs needed to the premises or equipment.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service by being attentive to guest needs, professional, friendly, organized and knowledgeable.
• Perform other duties as required by management from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum two (2) years of experience in a similar role within a luxury resort/hotel.
• Knowledge of cleaning products.
• Able to work on own initiative with little supervision.
• Must be personable and have outstanding interpersonal communication skills.
• Capable of working quickly without compromising quality.
• Possess strong time management skills.
• A satisfactory Police record and fluency in English is required.
• Must be willing to work early shifts, weekends and public holidays as needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to stand throughout a shift and walk through all areas of the farm, hotel facility, and kitchen.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• May be exposed to a humid and hot environment. Temperatures will vary at any given time.
• Frequent standing, bending, walking, and lifting required
