Mason/Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mason/Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both masonry and carpentry techniques, with a proven ability to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard. You will be responsible for a variety of construction and repair tasks, ensuring safety and quality in all aspects of your work.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Construct, erect, and repair structures and fixtures using wood, brick, stone, and concrete.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to plans.
• Install windows, doors, floors, walls, and roofing systems.
• Mix, apply, and finish concrete, mortar, and plaster.
• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and stone to build or repair walls, foundations, and other structures.
• Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and construction professionals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason and/or Carpenter.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings ( not limited to).
• Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and safety procedures.
• Skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
