Senior ICT/IP Engineer

Digicel Cayman Ltd. needs a full-time Senior ICT/IP Engineer. The Senior ICT/IP Engineer supports the IT/IP Infrastructure Manager in the maintenance of the Digicel Cayman ICT and IP network infrastructure and ICT-based projects; managing their deployment and ensuring that these projects are completed in a timely fashion, within budget and to user requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Management of the complete life cycle of Digicel Cayman’s ICT based-projects; ICT solutions

architecture/design, delivery and installation, customer network troubleshooting and support.

• End to end path management of ICT customers’ local communications, and up to the Digicel edge

for international communications

• Support the ICT infrastructure of Digicel Cayman’s existing and future corporate customer base
• PBX configuration and maintenance
• Wireless communications management: Ericsson, Ceragon and Radwin microwave systems

support and maintenance.

• Support and troubleshooting SIP-based communication networks.
• Research new technologies to assist Business Solutions team with ICT-based systems proposals

Assist with the overall management of Digicel Cayman’s ICT/IP and Transmission infrastructure

• Maintain and troubleshoot the ICT WAN connectivity for our corporate and ISP services
• Monitor and maintain core VoIP infrastructure (Dialogic Session Border Controllers, SIP

Trucking/routing/manipulation and BroadSoft hosted PBX infrastructure)

• Assist in troubleshooting of Ericsson Mini Link and other transmission path issues

Academic qualifications and experience required for job (qualifications will be considered):

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computing Studies or Computer Science OR equivalent
• Cisco CCNP Collaboration, CCNA Voice or equivalent
• Fortinet Networking certification and experience is desired.
• Project Management Certification is a plus.
• 5 years’ experience administering Cisco routers, switches and voice gateways
• 2 years’ experience managing installation and maintenance of medium and small

telecommunication projects, including design and implementation of Cisco and Fortinet solutions

• Experience managing fixed wireless telecommunications installation and maintenance of voice and

data networks.

• 3 years’ experience with administering and manipulating SBCs and configuration of Cisco BroadSoft

hosted PBX solutions.

• 3 years’ experience with installation, configuration and troubleshooting of SIP-based services.
• Willingness to routinely work after normal business hours is a must.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8AM – 5PM Annual Salary Range: KYD $50,000 – KYD $60,585 per annum depending on qualifications, knowledge and experience working 40 hours per week. Benefits as deemed by law. Closing Date:15/April/2026
