Description

Duties include laying building materials, including concrete, tiles and brick/blocks, and constructs or repairs surfaces or structures., assemble hosting equipment and rigging such as cables, pulleys and hooks, to heavy equipment and materials: erect metal and precast concrete components for structure, Maintaining tools and workspaces. Restoring old and worn masonry. Reading Plans and blue prints in order to lay blocks, bricks and tiles to their requirements.

Knowledge of

Knowledge of construction tools, safety rules, safety equipment, cement mixing, cement mixer, building codes, plans and blue prints.

Skills in

Communicating with clients, customer service skills, respectfully work with others. Proficient in measuring and cutting tiles accurately Knowledge of different tile materials and their installation techniques Ability to prepare surfaces for tiling, Skilled in applying adhesives and grout to ensure proper tile placement Attention to detail and ability to create precise tile patterns

Ability to

Lift 100 pounds, operate cement mixer, read architectural plans, calculate material requirement from plans, brick laying, tiles, finishing walls, bend and tie steel, drive ( clean driving record), work at a high standard independently. As there are two positions Mason & Tiler that the worker has to perform, the applicant must have a minimum of 10 years experience in these positions and the construction industry. In addition, to knolwedge, and skills to fulfil the requirements of these positions.
