About the Team & Business Line

Citco Bank provides fully integrated transaction, deposit, foreign exchange and credit facilities to our Fund Services and Governance Services clients. Operating in strategic global centers Citco Bank provides access to best of breed process and technology. As a core member of our Banking Operations team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to minimize operational risks and ensure our clients experience seamless delivery across banking services. As the Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the payment and custody activities within the Bank, ensuring the delivery of a seamless service to Citco’s growing client base.

Your Role

• You will support the Operations Manager in discharging their responsibilities around the completion of client deliverables, staff development and task allocation.
• Responsible for the daily operations of the team as a whole as well as the underlying groups within it and ensure that staff adheres to the guidelines and procedures established by management
• Responsible for day-to-day processing of clients’ payment instructions
• Responsible for day-to-day oversight of clients’ custody activity
• Ensure prompt handling of both clients’ and outside service providers’ queries
• Provide feedback for further development of procedures to enhance the quality of service and mitigation of risks for the department
• Participate in special projects when required

About You

• You are Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics or Finance.
• 5 years of experience in the financial services industry
• Experience working in a payment processing role within the financial services industry
• 1-2 years in a supervisory role
• Advanced knowledge of SWIFT and other wire payments systems
• Hedge fund service industry experience (would be an advantage)
• Experience in implementing operational processes
• Strong project management, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Dynamic, organized and motivated
• Ability to set priorities and work with tight deadlines
• Ability to work in a team, under pressure and take initiative
• Caymanian or status holder required
