This role encompasses, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities
Guest Relations
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
Manage the waiting list, informing guests of wait times and seating availability
Seat guests in a timely and efficient manner, considering guest preferences and party size
Provide menus and any necessary information about the restaurant or menu
Assist with guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Reservations
Manage the reservation system, accurately recording and confirming reservations
Handle reservation modifications and cancellations
Communicate with the management team regarding reservation trends and capacity
Operational Duties
Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Assist with table setting and resetting as needed
Coordinate with the waitstaff to ensure smooth table turnover
Handle phone calls and inquiries in a professional manner
Assist with other restaurant tasks as required
Additional Responsibilities
Collaborate with the rest of the staff to ensure a smooth dining experience for our guests
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Qualifications
This is an entry level position however, previous hosting or customer service experience is preferred.

Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A friendly and outgoing personality
Available to work flexible hours, including on Public holidays, weekends and evenings
