Warehouse Assistant

We are seeking two reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistants to join our team. The successful candidates will support the day-to-day warehouse operations by receiving, storing, and handling inventory efficiently while maintaining a safe, organized, and customer-focused work environment. The ideal candidate will assist with daily warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency in handling goods, maintaining facilities, and supporting customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods in accordance with company procedures.
• Verify accuracy and condition of outgoing deliveries and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Identify and promptly report any damaged stock to the supervisor.
• Unpack, unload, and organize shipping containers safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, delivery trucks, and other handling equipment responsibly.
• Accurately measure materials (e.g., carpet, vinyl) and mix products (e.g., SureWall, paint) as required.
• Pull and deliver customer orders accurately, ensuring timely service.
• Wash and clean company vehicles and equipment as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and general upkeep of the warehouse, showroom, and surrounding areas.
• Report workplace accidents, safety issues, or property concerns immediately.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times.
• Safely lift and handle heavy items, typically between 50 and 95 lbs.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years' experience in warehouse or logistics operations preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift and safely lift heavy objects.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and safety awareness.
• Ability to work efficiently in a physical, fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of measurements, reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good interpersonal skills when interacting with customers and co-workers.
• Valid and clean Police Clearance.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Working Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday through Saturday.
