Maintenance Person

The Maintenance Person is responsible for the overall upkeep of guest rooms, buildings, and resort grounds. This role performs a variety of repair and maintenance tasks with a focus on painting and general maintenance to ensure the property meets established quality and safety standards while providing friendly, attentive service to guests. Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs, including drywall work, painting, plumbing, and basic carpentry.
• Install, maintain, and repair equipment and physical structures throughout the resort.
• Assist with minor electrical and pipe repairs as needed.
• Conduct regular visual inspections of guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and building structures to ensure they meet company standards.
• Complete repairs and cleaning tasks identified during inspections.
• Maintain a quarterly Preventive Maintenance Program for guest rooms, ensuring all work is properly documented.
• Paint designated areas and items as assigned.
• Keep a daily maintenance log detailing all work performed across the resort.
• Follow all OSHA safety standards and use appropriate protective equipment when handling chemicals or hazardous materials.

Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of maintenance experience in a resort or similar hospitality environment.

• Strong working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC systems, painting, woodworking, and general maintenance.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high standard of quality.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must be able to work in high areas
• Must be able to work most of shifts outside
• Must work weekends, holidays and evenings as required.
• Must be able to commute to East End, have reliable transportation and driver’s license.
