Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Tire Repairman

The successful applicant will be required to perform dual roles, as the company seeks a candidate with versatile skills. The employee is proposed to work forty-five (45) hours per week: twenty-five (25) hours as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at KYD 12.00 per hour, and twenty (20) hours as a Tire Repairman at KYD 10.00 per hour. In the role of Heavy Equipment Mechanic, duties will include repairing, maintaining, and servicing heavy-duty equipment; diagnosing mechanical issues; troubleshooting and adjusting engines, transmissions, brakes, and hydraulic systems; performing routine inspections; and carrying out preventive maintenance to reduce downtime. In the role of Tire Repairman, the employee will repair, remove, and replace tires, while ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Additionally, the employee will maintain accurate records, properly handle tools, and perform any other related duties as instructed by management.
