Kitchen Helper

Main Duties

• To ensure that dirty dishes, glasses, and cutlery are properly cleaned and re-stocked in a timely fashion.
• To ensure, with the utmost care, the prevention of breakage of any breakable or fragile items or the loss through negligence.
• To ensure that all pots, pans and cooking utensils are properly cleaned and re-stocked in a timely fashion.
• When 2 dishwashers are scheduled together they are to cooperate and help each other

according to the workload, (both, pot sinks and dish machine).

• Respectful co-operation with All staff members in working toward our common goal, The Customer, is a priority
• To complete any food preparation duties assigned to them in the time it is needed.
• To ensure that their section is being kept clean and tidy at all times.
• To assist cooks and chefs in any way needed during busy periods
• Must be able to work for long hours, standing up, and lift weights up to 50 lbs.
• To complete assigned tasks on posted cleaning schedule
• May be asked for assistance with storm preparations of the restaurant, in conjunction

with your home preparations.

• To ensure, with all kitchen staff, the maintenance of a CLEAN and hygienic workplace.
