Marketing and Fundraising Manager

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (including evenings and weekends as needed) Jasmine is a non-profit organisation committed to providing high-quality, compassionate palliative and hospice care, free of charge, to individuals in the Cayman Islands living with life-limiting illnesses. Position Overview

The Marketing and Fundraising Manager is responsible for driving Jasmine’s visibility, donor support, and long-term sustainability through effective fundraising and marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this full-time role oversees donor relations, event planning, community engagement, and strategic communications. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in non-profit development, with a strong understanding of palliative care.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and implement strategic fundraising initiatives to support Jasmine’s long-term sustainability
• Lead the planning and delivery large-scale fundraising events
• Secure financial and in-kind contributions from individuals, corporations, and community groups
• Develop and submit compelling grant proposals, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to funders
• Manage the donor database, maintaining data accuracy and ensuring effective donor tracking
• Create and oversee a robust donor recognition programme to retain and grow the supporter base
• Provide clear and timely monthly reports to inform leadership and support decision-making
• Foster meaningful, ongoing relationships with donors through regular engagement and appreciation
• Oversee and support the Marketing & Fundraising team, including providing guidance for volunteering programme and community engagement initiatives
• Develop strategic marketing and awareness campaigns to improve understanding of palliative care
• Assist with bookkeeping as needed

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in non-profit fundraising
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Fundraising, Non-Profit Management, Marketing)
• Experience in one or more of the following: endowments, capital campaigns, legacy giving, or major grant writing
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, including websites, email platforms, and social media
• Working knowledge of graphic design tools and software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and marketing software.
• At least 3 years of personnel management experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing or supporting a volunteer programme
• Demonstrated experience in budget development and financial oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable presenting to corporate audiences and speaking in public/media forums.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary range: CI $58,000 - $65,000 (USD $59,600 - $78,000) per annum commensurate with experience.
• 20 days of vacation leave
• Other benefits in accordance with the Cayman Islands Labour Law.
