Job Description

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT (Full-Time/Part-Time): 2 Year Contract

WE WANT YOU TO

Developing lists of suppliers for all assigned Bid Packages; Developing Scopes of Work for assigned Bid Packages; Utilising Procurement Software tools in the execution of your work; Assisting in the proper and professional issuance of each assigned Bid Package; Handling questions from suppliers and processing RFIs as necessary; Processing and issuing Bid Addendums, as required; Drafting of Supplier Analysis for each assigned Bid Package; Receiving Bid Proposals and performing Scope Review evaluations; Leading Scope Review Meetings with Field Team personnel; Making recommendations for the award of trade/material purchases; Communicating directly with local and global vendors to negotiate business terms and pricing; Drafting Contracts and Purchase Orders for assigned Bid Packages; Effectively track in-process vendor contracts from inception to signature; proactively communicate status in email and verbally as appropriate; Ensure all vendor agreements include DART standards; work directly with vendors and business stakeholders to make adjustments when necessary; Ensuring compliance/updates of procurement teams databases, trackers and shared folders; Report on KPIs, procurement policy non-compliance, and other ad-hoc requests; Develop relationships and communicate effectively with Procurement, Commercial and Business Stakeholder teams to drive vendor contracts and renewals towards completion; Proactively making recommendations to management for ways to improve contract templates, processes and policies, ensuring process compliance per the Procurement Policy; Work with other Procurement team members to support process and cost savings opportunity identification; Identifying potential risks to manager of vendor contract changes; Maintaining best-in-class procurement processes, tools and templates & supporting change management efforts across the team and cross-functional departments; Collaborating and work within a project team matrix to deliver on-time results; Take sufficient steps to minimise project risks; Prepare monthly project reports as requested by Manager; Assisting Purchasing Manager in the Maintaining all applicable Procurement Tracking Reports; and Keep up to date with applicable local regulations concerning construction industry.

DO YOU HAVE

An industry related degree in quantity surveying, construction management, supply chain management or related field 5+ years’ experience in procurement/purchasing within a construction management/general contracting firm or similar environment Strong leadership skills, aptitude in decision making and working with numbers; Ability to balance attention to detail with expeditious execution in a fast-paced environment; Must be proficient in sourcing and procurement techniques, and be capable of analysing complex information to support the department’s procedures and processes; Experience with global contractors and vendors; Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to negotiate; Demonstrated passion for procurement optimisation and supporting process efficiency initiatives; Highest standards of accuracy and precision, extremely organised; and advanced office skills.
