The Role The Regional Head of Projects – Caribbean Region will provide leadership, oversight and support to projects and ongoing operations within the region. Duties

Project and Portfolio Management

 Develop and maintain project management and portfolio management methodologies, documentation and supporting technologies to ensure high project management standards and project governance for regional projects.  Oversee regional project planning, including project resource allocation and reporting.  Ensure projects are well run according to established methodologies.  Ensure clear, sufficient and timely communication with stakeholders including regular reporting to the regional Head of Technology and the Regional Managing Director.  Assist with the evaluation and documentation of potential projects, including establishing feasibility, cost vs value assessment, scoping and MVP.  Lead and oversee a structured approach to continuous improvement for regional systems, technology-enabled processes, and delivery practices, ensuring alignment with regional priorities  Provide ongoing oversight of Viewpoint and other systems to support consistent, effective and efficient use.  Sponsor, coordinate, and support training on core systems as required.  Coordinate the testing and implementation of changes in the systems following enhancements or upgrades.  Assist in and contribute towards the development and harmonization of regional policies and procedures and ensure appropriate integration with relevant systems.  Act as a liaison between local office management, regional management and other stakeholders to ensure that local needs are recognized, prioritized and incorporated into regional and global Trident strategy.  Work with local, regional and global Trident resources, consultants and third-party service providers to enable the design and deployment of business solutions as required.  Regular business travel will be required to regional offices to provide on-the-ground support as needed and also to attend conferences and other meetings.  Work with DevOps, Service and Support teams regionally and globally to facilitate their collaboration in the delivery of project objectives.

Governance

 Develop and maintain project management and portfolio management methodologies, documentation and supporting technologies to ensure high project management standards and project governance for regional projects.  Ensure clear, sufficient and timely communication to stakeholders including regular reporting to the regional Head of Technology and the Regional Managing Director.  Review policies and procedures periodically to ensure control objectives are met. Propose updates where relevant.

Support

 Where required, provide senior‑level support and oversight for Viewpoint and project related issues raised via the FreshService portal, acting as a point of escalation  Oversee the investigation of user problems, identification of root causes, determination of possible solutions, testing and implementation of solutions.

Management

 Delegate tasks and responsibilities as deemed appropriate.  Provide oversight and follow-up for delegated work to ensure accurate and timely completion.  Provide support, guidance, feedback and mentorship to other members of the DevOPs, IT and Projects teams.  Manage direct reports ensuring timely completion of periodic performance appraisals, time keeping review and approval, vacation and sick leave review and approval, and other necessary management functions.

Other

 Proactively learn and utilize new technologies, concepts and procedures as appropriate to support the changing needs of the project management function.  Participate in strategic discussions and development.  Provide coverage for absent team members as needed.  Perform other reasonable actions as may be required by the Regional Head of Technology or other senior management as may be required from time to time.  Comply with all applicable laws and Trident policies and directives including, but not limited to:  Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Terrorist Financing and Counter Proliferation Financing  Report suspicious transactions to your supervisor/director or to the MLRO.  Policies and procedures as provided by Trident Group and as may be set at a local or regional level  Liaise with Trident Group IT, other Trident offices, and third-party suppliers as required to ensure the successful completion of the above.  Execute the duties and responsibilities outlined above in line with Tridents core values: Integrity, Respect, Accountability and Initiative.  Execute the duties and responsibilities outlined above in line with Tridents client service commitment: Responsiveness, Reliability, Attention to Detail and Personal Service. Skills and Experience  5+ Years experience managing large projects.  10+ Years experience with Viewpoint including front end management and features as well as backend components.  Experience managing large and complex system migrations.  Strong leadership skills for effective team management. This involves setting goals, managing priorities, delegating tasks, and providing feedback.  The ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve optimal performance and foster a collaborative work environment.  The ability to manage teams and coordinate complex projects across various diverse locations and time zones.  Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.  Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to multitask and work well under pressure. Compensation Salary and benefits offered with respect to the above position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and will be in the US$150-$180,000 range.
