Accounts Assistant

Island Hospitality is actively seeking qualified applicants for the position outlined below. Island Hospitality is a staffing and manpower outsourcing company providing skilled personnel to businesses across the Cayman Islands. One of our key partners, Link International Group and LiG Services , is currently seeking to fill the following position through our manpower services. Link International Group and LiG Services is an accounting and consulting firm for businesses and individuals in the Cayman Islands. Link has extensive experience working with many businesses in a variety of areas, including other accounting firms through our cross referral network, to ultimately achieve all the objectives of their clients. We are currently inviting experienced applicants to join our team for the position of Accounts Assistant The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Accountant with the management of the day to day transactions of the company’s clients, such as processing accounts payables and receivables, performing accounts and bank reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting, compiling financial statement information and preparing amortization and depreciation schedules and other reports.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Minimum of 5 years work experience in finance or accounting
• Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor (CQP)
• Willing to work weekends and some late evenings to assist with company’s QuickBooks training program to young Caymanians
• Must be a team player with strong work ethics and ability to set and work with deadlines
• Strong organization and decision-making skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality in handling financial information
• Ability to communicate in Tagalog is an asset

Salary Range CI$2,600-CI$3,600 per month depending on qualifications and experience. Caymanians preferred
