Assistant Vice President - Capital Markets

Purpose of the Job To support the Capital Markets services business and be accountable for the operations and service standards, whilst creating strong profitable relationships with clients. To develop, implement and grow various new service offerings to clients in the structured finance areas in conjunction with the Head of Capital Markets. To uphold Ocorian’s core values by promoting a culture of professionalism, teamwork and leadership. Main Responsibilities Manage and grow a diverse portfolio of structured finance companies including CRE, PACE, assets finance, Islamic finance and bespoke esoteric structures. Serve as a director and relationship manager on a select portfolio of structured finance vehicles within the capital markets client portfolio. Liaise and build relationships with lawyers, service providers, intermediaries, collateral managers, and trustees. Ensure client companies adhere to all legal and regulatory requirements (such as FATCA/CRS, Beneficial Ownership and Economic Substance) and ensure the AML and compliance obligations are adhered to in accordance with all regulations and Ocorian group policies. Generally support the Directors in the performance of their fiduciary duties and responsibilities. Monitor client requests and prepare transaction documents for execution and dispatch in a timely and efficient manner. Manage business intelligence, including capturing all contact details (where appropriate), business development related activity and produce detailed monthly and periodic reporting. Maintain and update files and documents of the company electronically on the records in Viewpoint, NavOne and DMS/iManage. Lead ad hoc projects and change management for business and regulatory operational optimization. Establish and foster strong relationships with key business stakeholders in other Ocorian offices in key capital markets jurisdictions. Identify and promote cross-selling opportunities across various business service lines within the broader Ocorian global network. Promote an atmosphere of cooperation and teamwork whilst exemplifying Ocorian core values. Perform any such other activities and tasks as may be reasonably required by the role.
