Yardman/Labourer

• Communicate with Operations/Plant Manager to discuss and establish daily requirements.
• Fill aggregate hoppers, refill as needed.
• Charge cement in cement tankers.
• Blow cement into cement silo.
• Keep area around batch plant clean.
• Conduct regular checks of buildings and yard/premises for cleanliness, any possible hazards and

rectify.

• Maintain the cleanliness and readiness of field service vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with general servicing of plant site.
• Utilize a variety of relatively simple hand tools with limited control adjustments.
• Maintain daily reports as required by Company Regulations.
• Assist in maintenance and upkeep of yard, plant and office.
• Provide backup support to the batch operator as needed by loading, weighing, and discharging of

aggregates and cement.

• Loading, unloading, and moving cement, sand and gravel to mixing area.
• Comply with all Safety, Health, Environmental and other Company Policies, Procedures and Requirements.
• Must be willing to work according to customer demands.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours, overtime, weekend work, plus nights may

be required; and

• Lift heavy items approximately 50lbs.
