We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Mason to construct, install, and repair structures made from wood, concrete, and other materials. The role requires excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
Construction & Installation: Construct, install, and repair wooden, concrete, and masonry structures. Measure, cut, and shape materials to specifications.
Project Execution: Read and interpret blueprints to plan layouts for framing, cabinetry, and other structures. Work on projects such as installing doors, windows, and roofing.
Tool & Equipment Management: Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear proper protective equipment (PPE). Report safety hazards immediately.
Additional Duties: Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units for walls, walkways, and structures. Perform inspections and make adjustments to ensure quality work.
Required Skills
High school diploma or equivalent trade certification with at least three years construction experience.
Proven experience in carpentry and masonry work.
Ability to read blueprints and project plans.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Strong understanding of safety procedures and use of PPE.
