Job Description

Provide audit, accounting and related advisory services to public and private clients in the financial services industry sector. Adapt the audit approach to the changing client environment and demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations. Develop and maintain working relationships with client personnel and proactively maintain contact with the client throughout the year, as well as direct fieldwork, inform supervisors of the engagement status and manage staff performance.

Required experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or a related field
  • An internationally recognized professional accounting certification, such as a CPA, ACA, CA, ACCA or equivalent; candidates who are in process of completing their professional accounting exams but have yet to become licensed/certified, will also be considered. Partially certified hires are required to become certified before being eligible for promotion to manager
  • A minimum of eighteen (18) months of recent relevant experience working for a public accounting firm; prior experience in the financial services industry is preferred
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to management
  • The flexibility to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

The successful candidates must have strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, an ability to work a flexible schedule as overtime will be required, as well as a dedication to teamwork and integrity within a professional environment.
